Born in Gorinchem in the Netherlands and now based in Benidorm, Richard has spent more than fifteen years behind the decks. His journey has taken him through packed clubs, lively disco bars, beach venues, weddings, private celebrations and corporate events — always with the same instinct: read the room, build the momentum and make everybody feel part of the night.

As RIVANI, he moves freely between pop, dance, disco, funky house, Latin house and timeless classics. Familiar songs are refreshed with stronger beats, playful transitions and a sunny Latin touch, creating a set that feels instantly recognisable but never predictable.

Many of the mashups and remixes in his sets are made in his own studio and cannot be downloaded anywhere else. That personal library gives every performance a distinctive signature: uplifting, colourful, fast-moving and built around the people in front of him.

Offstage, Richard brings the same optimism to his own original releases. He does not position himself as a singer; the songs are another creative outlet — music made to share his personality, positivity and unmistakable RIVANI energy.
